The Ottawa Police Departments D.A.R.E. summer camp will be July 31st, August 1st and 2nd 2025 at Prairie Star Ranch Williamsburg Kansas.

Check in times is 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Thursday, July 31st at Prairie Star Ranch, 1124 California Rd, Williamsburg, KS 66095.

Because of our full schedule check in must be completed during this time.
All USD 290 5th grade students are eligible to attend upon completion of the DARE program.
CAMP IS FREE! All eligible children may attend; therefore, ability to pay is not a factor for deciding to enroll your child.
Male and female adult counselors will be present at all times.
Because of the physical facilities, we must limit the number of campers. CAMPERS WILL BE TAKEN ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS. Therefore, it’s important to return your application as soon as possible.

DIRECTIONS TO PRAIRIE STAR
To get to Prairie Star Ranch take I-35 South to Exit (#170), turn left off the exit ramp onto Dane Street follow for approximately (.9 miles) Turn Right onto Williams Street/Old US 50 for approximately (1 block) Turn Left onto California Road follow for approximately ( .9 mile) Turn Right onto Prairie Star Ranch at the Rock sign and follow the main road until you reach the main parking lot

2 pr OF TENNIS SHOES – 1 OLD PAIR TO BE WORN WHEN PARTICIPATING IN WATER GAMES
ZIP LOCK BAGS FOR BATH SOAP ETC.
****ALL MEDICATION WILL BE TURNED IN WITH THE NURSE UPON CHECK-IN! ****
These items are not allowed at camp and will be sent back home
any electric devices (cell phones, ipods, tablet’s, cameras) or food.
Remember this is a camp and it is not recommended to send good clothes.
NO FLIP FLOPS OR SANDLES WILL BE ALLOWED.
