HAWKEYE HOTELS OPENS NEWEST OTTAWA HOTEL IN ALMOST 20 YEARS
Operations in full swing at Iowa-based companies first hotel in Kansas

. This is the first InterContinental Hotels Group property in Ottawa situated right off I-35, less than an hour away from Kansas City.

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites will offer amenities that cater to corporate and leisure guests with 81 guest rooms. Some of the amenities include a fitness center, indoor swimming pool, complimentary breakfast, free high-speed wireless internet and an outdoor patio. The hotel's aesthetic is rooted in the Formula Blue Concept, the IHG design prototype that prioritizes sleep quality, simplicity, and ease of maintenance. With over 1000 sqft of meeting space, this hotel will be a great place for small gatherings and corporate meetings.
The hotel has started building relationships with local employers including; Wal-Mart Distribution Center, American Eagle Outfitters Distribution Center, AdventHealth, Ottawa University, among many others.
Attractions and landmarks in close proximity include: the Old Depot Museum, Forest Park, Kanza Park, Carnegie Cultural Center, Prairie Spirit Trail, and Ottawa University.
