About
Being a college student with a passion for both technology and journalism, I embarked on a thrilling journey to develop my very own news website. It wasn't an easy task, but the learning experience and the sense of accomplishment were beyond rewarding.
The journey began with brainstorming. I spent hours jotting down ideas and envisioning the kind of news platform I wanted to create. I wanted my website to be user-friendly, visually appealing, and most importantly, a reliable source of information. Armed with determination and a clear goal, I was ready to dive into the development process.
First, I had to brush up on my web development skills. I had taken a few programming courses before, but I needed to expand my knowledge. I delved into HTML, CSS, and JavaScript tutorials, learning about responsive design, layout structuring, and interactive elements. The learning curve was steep, but with the help of online resources and communities, I managed to grasp the basics.
With a solid foundation in place, I moved on to planning the website's structure. I outlined different sections such as breaking news, feature stories, opinion pieces, and multimedia content. I wanted my website to be a hub of diverse news categories that would cater to a wide audience.
Next came the design phase. I dabbled with various color palettes, fonts, and layouts to find a visually pleasing combination. I wanted the website to feel modern and trustworthy, so I opted for a clean and minimalist design. Design tools and software like Adobe XD became my best friends during this phase, allowing me to create wireframes and mockups.
Once the design was finalized, it was time to turn my vision into a reality. I started coding the website using HTML and CSS for the front end. I focused on creating a responsive design that would work seamlessly on both desktop and mobile devices. As I wrote the code, I constantly referred to my design mockups to ensure consistency.
Adding functionality was the next challenge. I incorporated JavaScript to create interactive elements such as dropdown menus, image sliders, and article filters. This not only enhanced the user experience but also added a touch of modernity to the website https://kirov-news.ru/.
